The  stole here,  a great riband of black-dyed sheared beaver, lined in black wool crepe. What it's flung over, a black wool crepe dress with a deep band of black-dyed sheared beaver around the hem. This is a lovely late 1960's Ben Zuckerman suit in brown velvet. It features a sleeveless dress and a double breasted jacket.

This is a striking suit dating from 1961. The suit is  black with a blouse in royal blue. The lining of the jacket  perfectly matches the blouse- a very Chanel touch.
 

Dating from 1952 this Ben Zuckerman suit in navy is a stunner. The  jacket has an amazing lining with a matching scarf.

 

Dating from 1962 this Ben Zuckerman suit in a plaid pattern is a delight. The jacket  is single breasted  and has patch pockets. It's topped with a perfectly matching hat.

 

From 29 September, 1952- 'Winnie' Winner- this ensemble won a bronze trophy for designer Ben Zuckerman in the tenth annual competition for the American Fashion  Critics award, sponsored by Coty, Inc. A black and white Lesur tweed coat with seal collar and red jersey lining is worn over a matching two-piece red dress.

This gorgeous red wool coat by Ben Zuckerman dates from the late 1950's. It is trimmed in fur and has a belt to draw attention to the waistline.

 

Ben Zuckerman so subtly widens the shoulders of a  British lattice tweed suit.

This gorgeous suit was sold at Nan Duskin- a high end shop in Philadelphia that opened in 1927 and closed in 1994. The shop carried the finest high end fashion.

Here is a lovely Ben Zuckerman suit from the early 1960's. Made of a ribbed wool with white pin stripes, the suit is quite geometric in appearance.

This is a beautiful boucle wool suit in black dating from the late 1950's. It is double breasted with corde buttons. It's very well tailored and deceptively simple. A suit like this would have been a mainstay in wardrobes of the time.
 

 

This is a stunning blue velvet Ben Zuckerman coat which dates from  the 1950's. It has a fitted waist with a belt to the rear and may have had a matching dress.
