What's different about the dinner suit this year? The brocade is unglittered, the colours in the magenta to wine plummines. The suit is really a dress, sleeveless, low waisted and a jacket with this years new ease and scope.

Here we have a black and white tweed suit by Ben Zuckerman that dates from the 1950's. It has a tiny waist, full skirt and soft shoulders.

This is a gorgeous wool winter coat by Ben Zuckerman. It looks very warm and cozy!

The coat is certainly from the 1950's and has huge fur cuffs and collar.

This lovely, high quality jacket dates from the late 1950's. It was certainly once part of a skirt suit. It's made of thick, silky wool with a golden mink collar.

The jacket was sold at Leon Froshin, which was probably a high end boutique.
