Here is a jacket, by Harry Shacter, the designer who would go on to design for Ben Zuckerman.

This jacket would date to pre 1950, at which time he went to work for BZ.

The jacket falls to mid thigh, and is trimmed with thick black mink fur at the collar and hem. The jacket is princess seamed and has two pockets. The buttons are very decorative, and feature rhinestones.

From Vogue, March 1962- a sky blue Ben Zuckerman suit, accented by a bright red scarf. The skirt is knee length and the jacket is princess seamed so it fits the waist nicely.
The model is surrounded by models wearing world leader masks- including John F Kennedy on the far right.

This gorgeous ensemble consists of a dress and jacket. The dress is in black tweed with a self belt that ties at the waist, faux pockets at the hip and cap sleeves.
The matching jacket is in a wonderfully thick velvet in bright red, which contrasts nicely with the dress. The jacket is trimmed in the same tweed as the dress and has the most interesting buttons- they are not actually attached to the jacket, but are on either end of a cord, so that the buttons, when fastened, leave a slight gap in the jacket opening.
This outfit is particularly interesting, as it has a dress in a very functional, day material- tweed- and a dressy, evening material- velvet.
This outfit was sold at Neusteter's Department store of Denver, Colorado. This store, seen in bottom picture, closed in the mid 1980's.

A Ben Zuckerman suit, in dark blue tweed, with a design feature of many buttons.
The jacket has cuffs with the same buttons that feature on the jacket opening, and the skirt is high waisted and straight.
