From 1961- A Ben Zuckerman suit. The suit appears at first glance to be a standard Zuckerman, but it has a very unusual belt- the belt crosses at the front and then seems to disappear!

The model has perfect accessories- the shoes and gloves seem to match the belt.

Here is an incredible skirt and jacket combination by Ben Zuckerman. It illustrates how well Ben Zuckerman could create a total ensemble. The skirt and jacket tie together perfectly. The jacket is trimmed at the neck in black, and the skirt has a matching trim midway down the skirt. There are matching buttons on both the skirt and jacket which make this skirt and jacket appear to be just a dress. Very nice!

The suit is in a black and white check and would be perfect for day wear.

This is a jacket by Ben Zuckerman, once part of a set made up of either a dress or a skirt. The jacket is very formal and is made up of very luxurious material- probably a silk/wool blend. The jacket is slightly nipped at the waist and is futher pulled in by a mock belt in the back. The buttons are decorative and made of rhinestones and there are even pockets at the waistline.

Here is a great Ben Zuckerman outfit, made up of a dress and jacket. The material is a super luxurious brocade. The background is a nude colour and the embroidery is a shiny silver.

The dress is sleeveless and has an a-line skirt that falls to below the knees. The neckline is scooped but not low cut, as Ben Zuckerman clothing is generally quite modest. The jacket has one button which is unusually plain for a Ben Zuckerman- it is simply self fabric covered.

This outfit would have been ideal for attending the cocktail parties which were so popular in the 1960's.

This is a fantastic Ben Zuckerman ensemble, consisting of a dress and jacket. The material is a golden weave and is really striking.

The dress is quite plain and is a sheath shape. It has a great belt- large and very decorative. The jacket is double breasted and has stunning buttons which add to the overall dressy feel of this outfit.

You can see in the bottom pictures that this outfit retailed at Saks Fifth Avenue. The tag has a name on it- which is hard to read, but this would be the purchaser of this great outfit. And most interestingly of all there is the purchase date -9/27/65, so this outfit can be very specifically dated.

This is a great Ben Zuckerman coat in black wool, trimmed in fur (probably mink). The coat has an interesting closure- instead of buttons, the coat ties at the waist.

This coat has three-quarter length sleeves, and curves nicely at the waist to give a feminine shape to it.
