It's a suit, it's a dress, in Anglo wool twill. Ben Zuckerman's super suitdress, designed for I Magnin.

 

From Town & Country, September  1955- an Anglo wool suit with a 7/8 length topcoat by Ben Zuckerman. Hat by Irene  of New York. Kislav gloves.

This is a stunning golden silk cocktail ensemble- with a sleeveless dress and matching coat. It's probably from the early 1960's. You would certainly stand out in this beautiful outfit.

This  is a stunning Ben  Zuckerman outfit in a lovely ivory brocade. The dress and coat are probably floor length with buttons down the length of the dress.

 

 This is a wonderful Ben Zuckerman coat in black  velvet with  a fur trim and fur muff.

In the background we can see an ad for the movie Cleopatra- staring Elizabeth Taylor, which came out in 1963.

This is a gorgeous suit dating from 1964 in a pale wool. The jacket is double breasted with a modified nehru collar

 

Here we have a Ben Zuckerman suit,  dating from the 1960's. It has a relaxed jacket and slim skirt with a lovely polka dotted blouse featuring a bow at the neckline.

From Harper's Bazaar, March 1952- a black and white coat lined in scarlet taffeta by Ben Zuckerman.

 

The incomparable Suzy Parker wears a suit and coat by Ben Zuckerman. The red of the suit is highlighted in the plaid of the jacket to make a perfect ensemble.

This Ben Zuckerman suit, in a subtle plaid,  is probably from  the early 1960's. It's hard to date exactly as the features are quite timeless,  but the shorter skirt length indicates a 1960's design.

 

This is a beautiful Ben Zuckerman suit in yellow tweed with a silk blouse and silk lapels. It's probably from the late 1950's.

Ben Zuckerman created this suit in 1965- it still looks modern. The suit jacket is simply designed with small pockets and a neat collar.
