This is a gorgeous white Ben Zuckerman dress- simple and classic. The waist is fitted and the neckline is high in the front but appears to dip in the back. 

 

This lovely cornflower blue coat is from 1963. It's double breasted and has 3/4 length sleeves (all the better to display a smashing pair of gloves!).

 

This is a Ben Zuckerman coat and dress set in a thick pale blue wool. It's made to a very high standard as the close ups show- tailored perfectly. It probably dates from the early 1960's.

This is a Ben Zuckerman coat from 1963 in a pale blue. The coat is not fitted- it is almost a cocoon shape with a stand away collar.
 

Shot by Irving Penn  in 1962- and worn by Ina Clare,  this Ben Zuckerman suit is a delight.

It's perfectly accessorised by a matching scarf and hat and a bow tie belt.

 

This Ben Zuckerman coat and dress is from December 1966. It's a striking look- cream trimmed in black or navy. The dress is shorter than it would have been in previous years-   a nod to the times.

This is a Ben Zuckerman cocktail outfit- made up of a sleeveless dress and a double breasted coat with  'sapphire' buttons. It probably dates from the early 1960's.

This is a bit of an unusual Ben Zuckerman suit. It dates from 1965 and appears to be made of suede- an unusual material for Zuckerman to use. 

The jacket is double breasted and has 3/4 length sleeves.

This is a Ben Zuckerman coat that looks toasty and warm. It's made of a pale wool with a quilted look to it. It falls to just below the knee and has 3/4 length sleeves. The coat probably dates from the late 1950's.

 

This red Ben Zuckerman suit dates from summer 1961- it's very Jacqueline Kennedy in both style and in the model wearing it.
 

 Here we  have a really lovely Ben Zuckerman dress suit. It's probably made of wool with a fitted dress or skirt and a jacket with a dramatic fur collar.

I would date this beauty to the mid 1950's.

This is a Ben Zuckerman coat from the late 1960's- the tail end of his career. It's a more youthful look that he typically did, the hem is above the knee, but it is still conservative enough to appeal to older women.

This undated Ben Zuckerman dress and jacket probably dates from the early 1950's. It features a lovely dress with a belted waist and a white bow at the neckline. The jacket has a rounded hem and 3/4 length sleeves. The outfit is worn by Joan Friedman. 
 

This is an interesting Ben Zuckerman outfit- it appears to be a coat dress or perhaps a coat with an oversized fit. The fabric is dogtooth in black and white.

This beautiful Ben Zuckerman suit in a checked pattern dates from the 1961. It has a cropped jacket with 3/4 length sleeves and a fitted skirt. The model is posing with a camera- perhaps a Box Brownie?
 

Model Ina Balke wears a Ben Zuckerman dress- tailored like a suit. The dress has short sleeves and a collar. It probably dates from the mid 1960's.

 

From Vogue, 1 September, 1955- The new American suit-a mere everything.

It's simplicity itself, this new look in suits from Ben Zuckerman's collection. The cut is all, but it's a cut above- adult, slighter and slimmer than we've been seeing, designed to slide smoothly into the new winter coats. This mere everything of a suit in charcoal grey. The longish jacket has a set-in waistline, slides easily over the slim skirt. About $185. 

 This is a lovely soft Ben Zuckerman suit- in a grey heathered boucle.

The suit dates from the mid 1950's. It has a cropped jacket with corde buttons and 3/4 length sleeves.

Dating from the mid  1950's- this lovely Ben Zuckerman  coat is a feminine delight. It's made of wool woven by the Anglo Fabrics mill.

Dating  from 1958- this is a lovely Ben Zuckerman coat and dress set  in silvery brocade. It is worn by Ivy Nicholson- a top model of the era and close friend of Andy Warhol.
