'Vertical pleats run into the pockets of this grey and white tweed suit, from the Ben Zuckerman collection. Under the black patent leather belt is a flat set in bell. The white silk scarf and carnation are part of the design.'

From 1953- model Sunny Hartnett wearing a lovely dark brocade Ben Zuckerman suit. The jacket has a tiny waist and soft, sloping shoulders and makes the most of Miss Hartnett's lovely figure.
Sunny Harnett, born in 1924, as Annemarie Margot Harnett in Brooklyn, was a model in the 1950s. She can be found in fashion magazines throughout that era — including frequently on the cover of Vogue. Harper′s Bazaar ranks her as one of the 26 greatest models of all time

This is Princess Grace of Monaco, leaving New York on the SS Constitution to travel to Monaco for her wedding to Prince Rainier.
The SS Constitution was built in 1951 and sailed to Europe until the late 1960's when she started sailing to Hawaii. She retired in 1995 and was sunk in 1997.
Grace Kelly wears a beige suit by Ben Zuckerman, and she is seen carrying the Hermes bag named after her, the Kelly Bag.

From The Sydney Morning Herald, 25 September, 1952- American Fashion Critics designated by a jury of 70 fashion editors and presented by Coty was presented to designer Ben Zuckerman.
