From Vogue, 1 March 1952- Suzy Parker in a Ben Zuckerman coat. This coat, in pale wool, is double breasted and has a nipped waist, flaring skirt and 3/4 length sleeves.
Suzy Parker was probably the top model of the 1950's. Born in 1932 in Texas, she appeared on dozens of magazine covers in the 1950's and was the first model to earn over $100,000. She was a favourite of Coco Chanel and appeared in numerous Revlon ads of the time. She retired in 1964 and died in 2003.
