From Vogue, October 1956- a great tweed Ben Zuckerman suit with a fox fur collar that wraps around from the front of the suit, around the neck and to the opposite collar. The suit is modelled by Joanna McCormick
The hat is by Sally Victor, who was born in 1905. She started her career at Macys as a buyer and opened her own boutique in 1934. Her clients included Judy Garland, Helen Hayes and Queen Elizabeth II. She died in 1977.
The photo is by Karen Radkai, a photographer whose work was featured a number of times in Vogue during the 1950s and 1960s.
