This Ben Zuckerman coat, in rich black velvet trimmed in satin is a lovely topper for a cocktail dress.
The coat dates from the early 1960's and features typically ornate buttons.
The coat was sold at Nan Duskin, which was a high end Philadelphia department store, opened in 1927. It was known as the place to buy high end clothing in Philadelphia and was the last word in luxury. Sadly it closed in 1994.
