This lovely Ben Zuckerman coat, possibly once part of a suit, is a delight! Made of thick purple wool, and feature slash pockets, a shawl collar with a split in the back. This coat was sold at Marie Evelyn, Traverse City, which was in all likelihood, a high end boutique.

This is a late 1950's Ben Zuckerman suit and blouse. This is a clear homage to Chanel- the suit is a boxy cut and the lining of the jacket matches the blouse. It's a demure, ladylike suit that would look great today.

This Ben Zuckerman coat features in a 1955 advertisement for Chrysler Imperial- 'The Smartest Women in the World are now seen in Imperials.' The ad also featured dresses by Galanos and Mollie Parnis.
This suit is fitted at the top and flares at the waist. It has large pockets and the hip and is trimmed with fur at the collar and wrist.

This Ben Zuckerman suit dates from the mid to late 1960's and is bright and busy! The pattern is a more mature and conservative version of 'flower power'. The jacket is collarless and has 3/4 sleeves with a vent at either side of the opening. The skirt is simple and relatively short. The suit is made of silk.

This Ben Zuckerman coat dates from the mid to late 1950's. It is made of very substantial tweed, as evidenced by the second photo.
The coat is single breasted and has 3 large buttons. There are 3/4 length sleeves which are trimmed in fox fur. This coat would have been ideal for day wear.

These three Ben Zuckerman dresses are really lovely and unusual. They are all shift dresses in wool, in cream, pink and blue. All feature wonderful buttons that are so typical of Zuckerman's. The dresses are all short sleeved and 2 button down the length of the dress, whereas the pink dress has buttons that end halfway down the dress.
The cream dress has a rarely used Zuckerman label that I have only ever seen once before. It may be that this dress was made specifically for a client who was perhaps a very good customer.

This advertisement dates from 1954. It shows a super feminine suit, with a tiny waist, full skirt and soft shoulders. The suit is accessorised with a hat, gloves and pearl earrings, as well as an adorable dog.
