This is an undated Ben Zuckerman coat- it's a striking look.
The coat has an asymmetrical closure, and almost resembles a dress. The self belt adds flair. All in all, this is a lovely outfit.

This ensemble dates from 1961 and is worn by model Sondra Peterson, a top model of that era.
The dress is a long column made of Matelassé a weaving or stitching technique yielding a pattern that appears quilted or padded. Matelassé may be achieved by hand, on a jacquard loom, or a quilting machine. It is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched quilts made in Marseilles, France. It is a heavy, thick textile that appears to be padded, but actually has no padding within the fabric.

This wonderful Ben Zuckerman suit dates from the late 1950's. It's made of a beautiful nubby wool in a pale pink shade. The jacket has wonderful cordé buttons in a matching pink, which add a decorative touch.

This wonderful suit dates from 1967- the penultimate year of Ben Zuckerman's career. It's a classic design, quite different from what many 'hippies' were wearing at that time.
