This lovely Ben Zuckerman suit, in navy velvet, dates from the 1950's. It has a single breasted jacket with gold buttons and 3/4 length sleeves. The skirt appears straight with a leather belt, and the ensemble is finished off with a cream blouse that has a large collar.
The outfit is modelled by Jessica Ford, who was a top model of the 1950's.

This beautiful coat by Ben Zuckerman dates from the early1950's. It 's in the New Look style, with at tiny waist and a full skirt. It's super feminine, featuring a peter pan collar and lovely cuffs.
The coat is made of navy lightweight wool. Navy is considered a neutral colour so this coat could be worn with anything.

What a lovely suit! It is made of black and white Glenurquhart plaid. The jacket is lightly fitted and single breasted, and has 3/4 length sleeves. It also has a fitted vest and a slightly pleated skirt.
Glen plaid (short for Glen Urquhart plaid) or Glenurquhart check is a woollen fabric with a woven twill design of small and large checks. It is usually made of black/grey and white, or with more muted colours, particularly with two dark and two light stripes alternate with four dark and four light stripes which creates a crossing pattern of irregular checks. Glen plaid as a woven pattern may be extended to cotton shirting and other non-woollen fabrics.

Dating from the 1950's, this Kelly green coat is a stunner! It features 3/4 length sleeves and a huge collar and a sack back. The sack back style originated in the 18th century and featured a tight waist with a loose back. This was a style favoured by the couture master Balenciaga so this is likely Ben Zuckerman's copy.
