This is a Ben Zuckerman advertisement, dating from 1952.
It features a lovely suit, possibly in tweed. The jacket is stunning, with it's tiny waist and decorative black buttons. The skirt is straight and slim cut. The model is also wearing a fur muff, an accessory that is not often seen today, which is a shame as they are very chic.

This is a stunning tweed Ben Zuckerman suit, dating from the late 1950's. It is wonderfully well made, with perfectly set sleeves, and 'invisible' closures on the jacket- the buttons are on the inside of the jacket so the jacket appears to have no closures. Even though the buttons wouldn't be seen, the buttonholes are still bound, a high end touch.
There is a belt that nips the waist and adds a feminine touch to this super outfit.
The suit was sold at Helmer Inc, Syracuse, which was in all likelihood a high end boutique.
