'Continuing our discussion of colour, of what-goes-with-what, here are some directions for handling the new jewel toned green (seen earlier in this issue), one way or another its going to come into many a smart woman's clothes life this winter.
With a monotone streak of Emeraude green (if its your winter coat for instance) -small amounts of black, the red and the leaf green of roses, the soft white of pearls, the merest glitter of a green jewel. The coat by Ben Zuckerman. Added, a velours and angora hat, hair hiding. A necklace by Bobley, in simulated jewels- pearls, crystals, a single emerald. $25. A calfskin bag by Jenny, $11. Calfskin shoes, $22. A silk and velvet Flowermodes rose, $4 for the three. All at Saks Fifth Avenue.'

'The No-Color costume from Ben Zuckerman. Two-piece camel wool dress falls slightly beneath the coat, is back belted and welt-seamed detailed. Double-faced coat is grey and camel tweed.'

This is a lovely Ben Zuckerman suit in grey wool. It dates from the late 1950's and was retailed at Bonwit Teller.
The jacket is single breasted with welt pockets at the waist. It also has decorative top stitching around the entire jacket edges.
The skirt has box pleats that make the skirt flare out from mid-thigh and make the skirt very easy to walk in.

This lovely Ben Zuckerman coat dates from the 1950's. It is made of very heavy and thick wool and features an asymmetrical closing with 3 large buttons. The collar is mink. You can see the coat is cut with a curve at the waist to add a feminine touch. Wonderful!
