From Vogue, October 1965. A lovely winter coat 'Great Blizzardry'. 'White, storming across the winter scene, blankets the days and nights with snowy brillance. Here, our romantic girl-of-the-steppes wears a rich, thick melton-wool white stroked with taupe-dyed Afghanistan lamb. Ben Zuckerman is responsible for its subtly curved line and irreproachable tailoring. He makes it for us in misses sizes. $425.'

I am lucky enough to own this very coat. I promise pictures of it when I take it out of summer storage.

From Harper's Bazaar, 1963. A woolen coat, in a cocoon shape.

The former editor of Harper's Bazaar, Carmel Snow (from 1934-1958) almost exclusively wore Parisian designers such as Molyneux and Balenciaga, however she did wear a raspberry pink Zuckerman suit to an event called 'Love Letter to Carmel Snow' in Philadelphia in 1957.

From Neiman Marcus, a 1953 Zuckerman suit. This suit draws all the attention to the model's tiny waist.

From 1955, a tweed suit. The lines on this suit are very straight and long, giving a lean appearance.

Another new Zuckerman. This one is a lovely 1960's white cotton matalase. The jacket is cropped and features brass coloured buttons. From MyFabulousCloset.

My latest Zuckerman, from Studio 320 on Ebay. This suit is probably late 1940's to early 1950, as it has the lovely nipped waist that is so identifiable with the New Look of that period.

The suit is a pale beige jacquard, with a striking asymetrical closure to the suit jacket. While this suit may be 60 years old, it does not look old fashioned, and would not look out of place today.
